What if everyone biked?

I was walking along Queen street the other day and imagined a city where hardly anyone owned cars and the majority biked. It made me think what it would do for the street life of this city. When that Eastern seaboard blackout occurred i think it was one of the best things that happened in this city. My wife and i found a cozy little bar, people were singing, i think it was the most vibrant i ever EVER saw this city. Only one looting was recorded, which i found to be really interesting. But back to my question, if everyone biked, what would that do to the moralle and quality of everyone's life.

I don't know if it would change people's morale but it would be without doubt very clean and good for our planet :)

But don't you think people would engage more while cycling than they would in cars? I bike often, i hardly loose my cool at other cyclists, it's happened but not often. But with cars on other hand, it's a constant battle. To add to that, while cars are gridlocked, cyclists coast past. You can feel the motorist frustration.

Also if something catches your eye while cycling you can pull over, a car it's much harder. You can't get a sense of an neighbourhood in a car.

Also a cyclist or pedestrian is not likely to tell another pedestrian/cyclist to "Fuck off", where as while driving it's easy to do because basically your faceless. Motorists dont' have to own up to their actions, unless an actual accident happens.
